About the role

We are looking for a proactive, adaptable Senior DevOps Engineer to drive deployment excellence across a distributed AWS microservices platform. You will partner with engineering teams, Tech Leads, and centralized DevOps squads to build a reliable, scalable, and automated software delivery platform. We prioritize engineers who combine strong Kubernetes and CI/CD expertise with a collaborative mindset to optimize the developer experience.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD & Automation: Design, scale, and maintain enterprise pipelines and automate cloud infrastructure provisioning
Kubernetes Orchestration: Manage cluster availability, security, networking, ingress, and service mesh traffic management
Release & Database Management: Coordinate cross-team releases, Git branching strategies, and database version control/rollback strategies
Observability & Support: Build platform monitoring, logging, and metrics dashboards while supporting incident response and root-cause analysis (RCA)
Collaboration: Partner with Dev Leads to remove deployment blockers, align on infrastructure standards, and manage cross-service dependencies

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or SRE supporting production microservices on Kubernetes
Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS, Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Istio (preferred), Envoy Proxy (preferred)
CI/CD & Release Engineering: GitHub Actions, Spinnaker, Git, Jenkins (preferred)
Artifact & Database Versioning: Nexus Repository, Amazon ECR, Liquibase (database schema migrations)
Observability & Monitoring: Splunk, Fluent Bit, Prometheus, Grafana, Amazon CloudWatch
Testing, Quality & Scripting: SonarQube, Playwright, Jest, Bash, Node.js (preferred)
API & Platform Technologies: Apigee X, REST APIs, Microservices Architecture, Kubernetes-based platforms
Soft Skills: Strong communication, proactive risk management, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Nice to Have

Experience implementing GitOps practices
Experience with Platform Engineering or Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
