The Senior Software Developer will be a key contributor and technical leader, responsible for the design, development, and implementation of scalable, high-performance applications leveraging the Microsoft Technology Stack. This role involves applying advanced software engineering principles, mentoring junior developers, and driving continuous improvement in development and deployment processes. 

This person will play an active role in the life cycle stages of planning, requirement definition, design, development, testing, and support. Sr. Software Engineer will participate in architecture and design of various components and ensure a timely execution of the software applications with high quality. Sr. Software Engineer analyze the application requirement and translate requirements to task specifications for junior programmers and mentors lesser experienced development team members.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Development & Architecture

  • Lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions, primarily using C# and .NET Core/.NET frameworks.
  • Architect and implement applications following modern design principles, including Microservices and Cloud-Native patterns.
  • Translate complex business requirements and user stories into technical designs, and write clean, efficient, well-documented code.
  • Integrate and develop APIs and services for seamless data exchange between systems.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and performance standards.

Cloud & DevOps

  • Utilize Microsoft Azure services (e.g., App Services, Functions, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Service Bus, Key Vault) to build and deploy cloud-based solutions.
  • Implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Ensure application security, performance, and scalability in the cloud environment.
  • Manage and troubleshoot deployment processes and production environments, including monitoring and telemetry.

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Serve as a technical expert and guide the team on technical decisions, architectural patterns, and coding standards.
  • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, QA Engineers, and UX/UI designers, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to planning, estimation, and process improvements.
Qualification and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in software development, with significant experience in the Microsoft stack (C#, .NET).
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering large-scale, enterprise-level applications.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
